Climate & Health Comic: Air Quality & Breathing Item#HP-CC100E This comic is the first installment in the Talk About It Climate & Health Comic Series. It explains how climate change can worsen air quality and possible impacts on human health. It also provides practical guidance on how doctors and parents might talk about these issues in relation to protecting the health of children. The title of the series, "Talk About It," acknowledges that, while more people believe in climate change and see the effects of it, they are not sure how to begin addressing it in their own lives. In addition to providing guidance to Michiganders on how to adapt to the effects of climate change to protect health; the series is an application of research that shows that family and community health is one of the most effective ways to engage the public on climate change.
